Dr. Sangsoon Chang studied Oriental Medicine at the Southwest Acupuncture College in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He was an instructor at the Southwest Acupuncture College specializing in Korean Hand Therapy and supervising clinics there as well. He is also a certified examiner for the Board of NM Acupuncture.
He has been practicing since 2006 in New Mexico and has built a successful business model based on referral from his patients.
His continuing education is focused on pain management processes for individual with chronic and acute pain. He uses Chinese Herbal remedies to enhance his acupuncture practice.
The Acupuncture Pain Clinic and Dr. Chang were the recipients of the 2020 and 2021 Best of Albuquerque award!
